CI Auditor Team
CI professional auditor teams perform audits to verify an organization's compliance with all ISO standards, such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ensure continuous improvement of client management systems.
With the guidance of Mr. James Pymer, Chairman of Certification International (UK) Ltd, Mr. Ooi Soo Kang founded CI Certification Malaysia Sdn Bhd in June 2000. Initially established as the Malaysian arm of CI (UK) Ltd, the company began operations at Wisma UOA II, Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur, with a small team of three staff – Ms. Ivy Wong (Office Manager), Ms. Selene Mow Choy Kuem (Admin Executive, later promoted to Admin Director and still serving today), and Mr. Yip Kok Leong (Lead Auditor).
In its early years (2000–2012), CI Certification Malaysia operated as a branch office under the CI (UK) group, which had global presence in the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Argentina, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. During this period, the company delivered UKAS-accredited certification services across multiple management system standards, including ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment), ISO27001 (Information Security), OHSAS18001/ISO45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO22000 (Food Safety), and ISO50001 (Energy Efficiency).
A significant milestone came in 2003, when the company achieved accreditation by the Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) for ISO9001. Over the years, additional accreditations followed, including ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, and most recently ISO37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System) in 2022. The company was later renamed CI International Certification Sdn Bhd, reflecting its broader international scope.

Registered Conformity Assessment Body
Beyond certification, CI International is a registered Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) with the Medical Device Authority (MDA), Ministry of Health Malaysia, authorized for Product Verification (PV) and full conformity assessment of imported medical devices under ISO13485 and GDPMD.
